Hi! I’m JOHN RITTER. I am currently a student at JAMES BOWIE HIGH SCHOOL, and am currently taking their ANIMATION 2 course, which brings me to this. I am an aspiring content creator, though none of those aspirations have translated into skills (yet). I want to try everything offered by the course, from filmmaking to 2D/3D animation to even (basic) game development. As I said before, I have very little artistic skill, certainly not enough to fully articulate the ideas in my head. I’ve always been interested in creating a world: a living, breathing world with living, breathing characters. To sum it up, I really like immersion, and atmosphere.
During this class, I’d like to drastically improve my skills in 3D animation, sound design, game development, and so on. This is so I can open myself a pathway into the entertainment industry, for possible careers. Beyond that, I don’t really have any “goals”, or even ideas of what to do after high school. I’ve always seen my dabbling in the arts as a hobbyist sort of thing, which means that I am uninterested in diving into an art school and so on. So, again, I don’t have a clue what I’m gonna do...
